Professional background: Senior UX Designer at Pantastic
I’m a UX Designer with over 10 years of experience as a graphic designer, animator, and digital designer. At the moment I’m applying my trade at ME Bank, a branchless Australian bank. We’re working on transforming the digital landscape of banking in Australia. I’m one of those annoying people who loves what they do. It’s a blessing and a curse, but it’s gifted me with a diverse portfolio of work ranging from corporate solutions to start-up branding, to personal projects. When I’m not doing UX, I’m generally writing or doing talks around Melbourne. In particular, I’m an advocate for ethical, inclusive design.
What’s your motivation for becoming a DiR?
I love giving back to the UX community! I received endless amounts of help and support to help me reach my career goals, and I’m excited about the opportunity of doing the same for others.
What are your hobbies and interests?
I do a little bit of everything! I’m a huge fan of fantasy and sci-fi, and a Marvel die-hard. I also paint, do photography, and do some software development on the side!
