Professional background: Design Lead at SEEK
I am a Senior UX designer passionate about meeting people’s needs, design experiences and behaviours so I can help organisations succeed while solving real problems for users. I have more than 10 years of experience as a designer where I had the opportunity to design physical and digital products as well as services, which helped me to build strong skills in user research, experimentation, behavioural design, usability, design thinking and stakeholder management.
My 5 Gallup strengths are learner, strategic, ideation, relator and futuristic. I decided to be a mentor because it is a great way to influence people lives in a positive way, helping them to discover strengths and weaknesses to create a life plan which helps me to grow as a person and as a professional. I believe in the power of teaching what I have learnt as a way of giving back. Additionally, every time I teach – I learn. So mentoring is one of the ways in which I keep learning and leverage my career.
