Code of Professional Conduct

As a student of Academy Xi ('AXi'), you are required to:

  1. Act responsibly, ethically and with integrity
  2. Be respectful in dealing with all members of the AXi community
  3. Ensure that all work completed is original or referenced appropriately
  4. Actively and constructively participate in group projects or tasks
  5. Maintain AXi’s reputation and good standing
  6. Use and care for AXi resources in a responsible and appropriate manner
  7. Comply with the terms and conditions as outlined in the AXi Student Agreement

Specifically, AXi does not tolerate harassment or discrimination against any member of the AXi community in any form. Harassment includes, but is not limited to:

  • Offensive verbal comments.
  • Sexual images in public spaces.
  • Deliberate intimidation, stalking or following.
  • Aggressive discourse with panelists, presenters or participants.
  • Harassing photography or recording.
  • Sustained disruption of talks or other events.
  • Inappropriate physical contact.
  • Unwelcome sexual attention.
  • Swearing or other profanity.
  • Advocating for, or encouraging any of the above behaviour.

Discrimination includes the less favourable treatment of a person or group of people based on their gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity or religion. 

A material breach of the Code of Professional Conduct may result in the cancellation of your enrolment.
