1. Tell us about yourself.

I’m a seasoned data analytics professional with a background in finance, aviation, and retail. I specialise in using tools like R, Python, SQL, and data visualisation platforms such as Tableau and Power BI to derive actionable insights. In addition to my professional work, I also mentor aspiring data analysts and enjoy sharing my knowledge through teaching and workshops. Outside of work, I love hiking and exploring new technologies.

2. What does a typical day in your role look like?

My typical day involves a mix of analysing data, developing reports, and presenting insights to stakeholders. I also spend time collaborating with my team on analytics projects, managing campaigns, and strategising on data-driven solutions. Additionally, I engage in mentoring activities, providing guidance and support to junior analysts and students, which helps me stay connected with emerging trends and challenges in the field.

3. How did you become the Data Analytics instructor for Academy Xi’s Data Analytics course and workshop?

I initially gained teaching experience through my role as a FinTech Bootcamp Instructor at the University of Sydney. About two years ago, an opportunity arose to join Academy Xi as a Data Analytics instructor. With over a year of experience conducting corporate trainings and workshops, and a deep passion for mentoring, it was a perfect fit. Teaching and sharing knowledge is one of my biggest passions, and being part of Academy Xi allows me to further engage with and inspire others in the field of data analytics.
