Professional background: Service Designer at NEXT – The Reece Group

I’m a designer that loves working across CX and UX, following a customer journey all the way from initial discovery to wireframes. I was drawn to design as I enjoy solving problems and optimising experiences, and a design role has allowed me to bring a level of creativity and empathy to my everyday.

What’s your motivation for becoming a DiR?

After completing a UX design course in 2021, I’m keen to share my industry learnings with current students. I received a lot of help and mentoring in order to break into the design industry and want to help others do the same. Coming from a commerce and project delivery background, I want to mentor students to leverage their unique skills to bring to the industry, as I did.

What are your hobbies and interests?

Outside of work I enjoy dance, going to the gym, and I’m learning piano. I also love my pet bunny, Milo.
