Event Description

User Interface (UI) design can be best described as the visual elements of a product or experience – its look and feel, interactivity and presentation. At its best, UI design engages and guides the user in an intuitive and aesthetically pleasing way, adding significant value to a product. Poor UI design, however, has the potential to derail the user experience, disengage your customers and ultimately damage your brand.

So how do you make sure you are adhering to the principles of great UI design? What are some of the key areas to watch out for?

At our event, UI: Basic principles & common questions, we’ll unpack these questions and also explore:

  • What is UI design?
  • How does UI design add value to a product?
  • What is the difference between User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design? How do they complement each other?
  • What are the basic UI skills and where do you go from there?
