Event description

As humans, we often like to think of ourselves as logical, open and inclusive. Yet, the reality is we all have unconscious biases, which are constantly influencing and even driving many of our decisions.

At our workshop ‘Unconscious bias and product development’, we’ll explore the impact of these biases on the product design process, and look at what point these become coded in our products. We’ll also look at how to work around these biases, and consider ways to create fairer products moving forward.

This workshop will be a mix of presentation and practical exercises to reflect on our own experiences and biases. You’ll walk away with a better understanding of how your own mind works and how you can help create a more inclusive future.
