Event Description

Finishing a short course whether part-time or full-time can leave you with an exhilarating high — you’ve accomplished so much!

But entering (or re-entering) the workforce, whether it be in your existing or a new role, can leave you with feelings of doubt: how do I ensure my skills are constantly up to date with the needs in the market?

At our alumni exclusive event, Associate Professor Linda Leung will help you unlock the tips and approaches to future-proofing your skillset into the digital age.

The keynote will cover:

  • How to learn and adapt as markets and industries grow
  • The evolving discipline of digital experience design and its ever-changing job titles, from pre-Google to now
  • Where early digital workforces were drawn from and how people navigated the skills required for the profession
  • What you can do to develop your skills and stand out of the crowd

Plus, to show our appreciation to you as valued alumni, this event will be catered with pizza and drinks, so let us know of any dietary requirements.

We’ll also be running activities and a competition on the day, so come along to win some awesome prizes!
