The Art of Speaking with Impact: How to Get Your Message Across
09 May 2019
5:30 pm to 8:00 pm
Academy Xi, Level 3, 45 Exhibition St, Melbourne VIC 3000
What you say is only part of the challenge, how you say it makes all the difference.
Whether you’re pitching to a group, doing a job interview, or simply introducing yourself to someone — the way you speak matters.
With research suggesting that less than 10% of what you communicate is through your words, how your message is delivered is what delivers a strong message.
Learn the strategies and techniques to leave a great impression every time you speak, and gain confidence in public communication no matter the audience or forum.
At our workshop, The Art of Speaking with Impact, voice coach Sally Prosser will take you through:
- How your voice works and how to harness its potential
- Strategies to control nerves before public speaking and achieve a mindset for vocal success
- Do’s and don’ts of body language.
- How to get rid of vocal habits that aren’t helping your cause
- How to find your confident authentic voice
- How to engage your audience through vocal variation
