Workshop description

Whether you’re a small business owner, working in a startup, or looking to upskill your marketing capabilities for your career, this workshop is designed to equip you with the tools and techniques you need to scale your business through social media.

The sessions will be interactive with a focus on practical exercises to help you apply your learning to your real-life startup or business idea.

Session 1 (Saturday 9th November) covers:

Digital media strategy – Driving business/brand objectives with content designed for the User Experience

  • Learn the 5 keys to social media strategy and content execution. Walk away with content strategy and content brief templates to help you decide what platforms your business should be on, and what content to create each month.

Advertising on Facebook and Instagram – driving demonstrable outcomes and ROI – master Facebook advertising for both Facebook and Instagram

  • Learn the back-end of Facebook Business Manager. We’ll help you get set up and provide the relevant tools to boost your business and brand on Facebook and Instagram. We’ll explore how to drive key metrics such as brand awareness, reach, website traffic and conversions (sales, app downloads, lead generation, etc) using a strategic funnel strategy.

Session 2 (Saturday 16th November) covers:

Monthly reporting to ensure you’re driving business and brand outcomes:

  • We will help you create your very own monthly/quarterly reporting template, that will help you understand the results, consumer insights and pivots required to drive ongoing and measurable impact for your startup or small business.

Best practice social media:

  • We’ll share the top industry insider hacks and tools to create seamless content for the User Experience on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, whilst driving and laddering up to business and brand objectives.
