Free
Academy Xi, 48 Druitt Street, Sydney 2000
Event Description
In 2006, the Wallet Project was created by Stanford’s Design School (d.school), as an introduction into design thinking. Since then, the project has contributed to, modified, and evolved the way individuals and organisations have been educated in User Experience Design (UX).
The Wallet Project is an immersive activity that gives participants a full-cycle through design thinking principles in the shortest time possible.
In just 60 minutes, you’ll be asked to design a wallet through a rapid iterative process that includes conducting user interviews, product ideation, prototyping, and pitching your finished product.
By the end of this workshop you will have:
- An introduction to the Wallet Project
- Conducted user interviews
- Established product goals
- Built a wallet prototype and received feedback on your design
- Pitched your final product
- Got a taste of the end-to-end design thinking process
