The importance of creating a digital world that’s accessible and inclusive to all users cannot be understated. Sadly, it something that’s often an afterthought.
This information packed 3-hour workshop will introduce and unpack the topic of web accessibility and is suited to anyone exposed to digital – from copywriters and designers to product managers, business owners, startups, etc.
It will take a deeper, more hands-on dive into to the key concepts touched on during our Intro to web accessibility event, in particular, the importance of building digital products and experiences for users with diverse physical and cognitive abilities, across a variety of situations.

Digital consultant, thinker and doer
Chris is a digital consultant with a wealth of experience finding innovative outcomes for clients across various sectors, including: banking, retail, NFP, government, education, health and startups. Working in and with larger agencies has given Chris exposure to complex digital projects and clients, such as NAB and Bunnings. His creative mindset, technical know-how, and analytical nature have embedded him as one of Australia’s most innovative digital thinkers. Championing user experience and web accessibility best practice, he has been a judge at the past two Australia Web Industry Association (AWIA) Web Awards, as well as a presenter at Academy Xi.
