Academy Xi has teamed up with Publicis Sapient; a digital transformation company in Singapore (and beyond) to run a series of events about all things human-centred design and emerging tech.

Publicis Sapient has a strong history of utilising the disruptive power of technology with human expertise to deliver business value, and they have a pretty awesome team doing it too!

As the digital realm becomes intertwined with our everyday lives a new kind of ‘always connected’ customer has emerged. To stay competitive, companies that put their customer at the heart of transformation, and embrace digital experiences enhanced by emerging technologies, will reign.

This requires a mindset shift, one that we will explore at this event, along with:

  • The role of design in innovation initiatives and digital transformation
  • How companies are embracing digital customer experiences and emerging technologies
  • The challenges companies face when embarking on a journey to digital transformation
  • Trends of emerging skills and talent required in this digital age

Atlas Lim | Head of Experience Design @ Publicis Sapient Singapore

Atlas leads the Experience and Visual Design team at Publicis Sapient SEA, and sits on the panel at Protiotype, an open research lab and think-tank, testing ideas for emerging technologies like Extended Reality, Foldable UI, with potential for industry adoption, scaling and commercialisation.

Atlas immerses himself in creating meaningful experiences in the digital space. Driven by a data-centric approach, he applies lean design thinking to leading cross-functional design teams in South-east Asia and Japan, creating products with delightful digital and physical experiences for both customer and brand.

Dee Sarma | Associate Director, Content & Social Strategy @ Publicis Sapient Singapore

Dee is a Content Strategy Leader with a track record of over 8 years in delivering content-driven multi-platform marketing solutions to major brands in the region such across industries.

Be it digital transformation projects, omnichannel campaigns, or adopting a brand-as-a-publisher model, Dee has a knack of helping our clients find the sweet-spot for content excellence within the context of customer experience, the brand, and the business landscape. Dee’s experience extends from formulating the right strategy for our clients to operationalising and realising true value for their customers and the organisation.

With an MBA in marketing, and over a decade of experience partnering with technology brands , Dee is a technology specialist, skilled in translating capabilities of technologies in the digital ecosystem to strategic and actionable content and social media plays for B2B and B2C clients alike. Dee is skilled in understanding the nuances of CMS, CRM, OMS, DAM, MRM, DRM, PIM, and more and how brands can utilise the powers of these technologies to create impactful customer experiences.

Amanda Chua | Principal Digital Strategist @ Singapore Airlines

Amanda is an experienced international design thinking practitioner with an unwavering focus on delivering the best possible customer experience. She constantly challenges the boundaries of innovation to help companies future-proof their businesses.

Amanda started her consulting career in Chicago at Enova, a Fintech startup before relocating back to Singapore to join LinkedIn as the youngest employee in the APAC headquarter then. She was recognised as a LinkedIn Power Profile in Singapore 2016.

In the last three years, Amanda was part of Accenture Interactive ASEAN practice where she worked with many of Accenture’s Fortune 500 clients to implement their digital transformation strategies.

2019 is proving to be an equally exciting year for Amanda as she recently joins Singapore Airlines in its newly created digital accelerator unit. As the principal digital acceleration strategist, she has set her sight on making SIA the world’s leading digital airline.
