‘Agile’ is a term you see everywhere. It may seem like just another buzzword but its principles guide a customer-centric focus and responsiveness to change. Agile has become a widely used approach to problem-solving where teams iterate towards optimal outcomes by developing new solutions incrementally, with a strong emphasis on collaboration.

Although it’s most commonly used in software development, Agile can also be used across other business functions too. Yet unfortunately, its value isn’t always realised by the rest of the organisation. At this event we’ll explore how to best utilise Agile and Design Thinking in a marketing context. Our speakers will share their experiences, insights and tips for increasing productivity using these methodologies.

Lauren has extensive experience working in the Innovation Labs of two of Australia’s largest banks and over a decade of working in large corporates. She is immensely skilled at navigating complex organisations to deliver new innovations, adopt new technologies and ways of thinking. Lauren’s background includes a diverse portfolio of business, operation, digital and innovation roles within the Australian banking and finance industry and most recently she joined Australia's latest tech unicorn Culture Amp as the Lead Customer Success Strategist.

As a marketing leader in digital and innovation at ANZ Australia, she has driven business change with a deep understanding of the challenges and rewards of organisational transformation. Merryn is skilled at working with teams and businesses to develop programs which are customer driven and strategically focused, using Design Thinking and Agile tools and techniques.

Marianne Dodd

Marianne is a highly experienced General Manager with an ability to devise new business models that create growth pathways in existing and new markets. Her customer focus has motivated her leadership team and business partners to re-imagine people’s relationships with the digital and physical world around them. By combining innovation and brand with technology, she has led digital and customer transformation across the Financial Services, Media and Pharmaceutical industries.
