According to IBM, there are 2.5 quintillion bytes of data created each day. With that, 90% of all data that currently exists has only been created in the last two years!
The need for data security has surged at an exponential rate due to the alarming rate of cyberattacks as of late. No organisation be it a startup to the government is immune. In a cyber-world, how do we ensure that both businesses and governments keep their data safe and away from the wrong hands.
At our panel, Data Security in a Cyber-World, our panelists will explore:
- The state of cybersecurity in 2019 and beyond
- What are companies doing to protect data
- Necessary steps we can make to protect our own data
- What skills are needed to understand data security
- Why not all roles in cybersecurity are technical
