As the backbone of any well-informed decision, data has become vital in driving the strategy and future roadmap of many businesses. Statistica predicted that the big data industry would be worth US$42 billion in 2018, and by 2027 is expected to be valued at over US$103 billion.
More than just numbers though; businesses that can build meaningful insights from the data that they collect will have a competitive advantage in the future, because they will be able to predict the behaviour of their customers; humans.
So what skills do you need to become equipped to deal with data? Is it all just numbers? And what does the future hold?
At ‘Data Science: more than just numbers’ we’ll explore:
• How data is driving tech innovation from IoT to AI
• How you can equip yourself for the future
• Where humans fit in the new frontier of numbers.
