Event Details

For most people who are thinking about embarking on a journey within User Experience Design (UX), one of the very first questions they ask is:

“Will studying UX provide me with any employment opportunities?”

For people who are curious about UX, the applied practice of design thinking and human-centred design can sometimes be shrouded in a cloud of fear. How can and how do people apply these practices to their everyday lives, both within the workplace and at home?

It’s this very fear that prevents learning and application. In a society where computing power is doubling approximately every 18 months, UX can provide a world of opportunities — it just needs to be harnessed.

At our panel  learn how others before you have conquered their fears and stepped forth into the world of UX. Hear from our current UX Lead Instructor, Robert Williams, amazing UX alumni of Academy Xi and industry folk.  Speak to our alumni and learn about their experiences and careers prior to, and during the UX Design course. Takeaway expert advice and tips on how to get the most out of studying UX and how you can find employment opportunities afterwards.
