Event Description

The cornerstone of a great digital product is dependent on three aspects  – its desirability, feasibility, and viability.

Yet the problem for many designers whose ideas get lost by the wayside is that they focus on only one aspect of a product. How do you get stakeholders and other influencing parties to approve and launch your idea?

At our lunchtime session, Business Design 101: An Introduction to Business Design, get insight into:

  • How do you develop empathy in business
  • How to incorporate the feasibility, viability and desirability of an idea in your storytelling
  • How to frame an idea so that it generates income

Tarra is an innovation leader, focused on the intersection between strategy, design and technology. Taking a startup mindset and toolset from Design Thinking, Tarra experiments on some of Australia largest companies to design and launch groundbreaking concepts and business models. Her background includes digital transformation consulting in Europe and Australia, innovation management at the CBA Innovation Lab, and Strategic Design at BCG Digital Venture, and Fjord for corporates across Asia-Pacific.
