The concept of social selling arose from the birth of the digital age, where information is shared instantaneously and as people work and interact online.

Adapted from the corporate world, social selling is the art and science of using social and digital tools to achieve a business’ objectives.

At our event, An Intro to Social Selling: How to Create Perceived Value, we’ll explore:

  • What does it take to build and nurture your personal brand?
  • How to improve your sales and networking skills
  • How to combine social media with the real world to enhance your personal and business brand
  • How to provide value on platforms such as LinkedIn to create value instead of simply pitching yourself


This event will cover personal branding, professional networking, content marketing and social media in a holistic way.

Gunnar Habitz

Social Selling Trainer and Leadership Mentor

Gunnar Habitz helps business consultants, channel partners and their customers to manage risk, crises, and disruptions smarter at Australian software vendor Noggin. Social Selling is part of his daily activity in engaging with his community and prospective clients. As a Chartered Manager at the Institute of Managers and Leaders (IML), Gunnar mentors the next generation of leaders, presents at their masterclasses, and his work is published in Australian leadership books.
